Big Sharks and Spanish Mackeral
Ran 1/2 day Fishing Charters on Tuesday and Wednesday just off of Oak Island. The Spanish Mackeral have really schooled up in those areas. On Wednesday we limited out in a three hour period. Most of the Spanish have been caught on #1 planers and Clark Spoons.
Once we had our limit of Spanish, Sharks became our next target. We ended the day with (2) 6′ 250 pound Lemon Sharks. These rascals are probally one of the toughest fights an angler could have on 20# test gear. If you would like to tangle with one of these big daddies now is the time.
